Awakening Through Art is a non-profit program, fiscally sponsored by CounterPULSE.
We facilitate workshops and collaborate on parties and events to bring
different communities of people together around art and music.
Everything is process based--the focus is on being creative and having
fun without attachment to outcome.
Our events include any variation of painting, drawing, clay, drumming,
drum instruction, music ensembles, singing, dancing, meditations and
sound healing.
We specialize in working with creative blocks in unconventional ways
that encourage liberation from whatever holds a person back. All people
are artists, musicians and uniquely talented and creative in some way;
we help people recognize that in themselves so that they can open up to
new inspirations and flow in their art, music and life.
